neil dylandy. • Still his twin brother, the only family he's got left and someone who means the world to Lyle. At the end of the day, he really just wants Neil to be proud of him. • Painfully oblivious and twice as stubborn - now that he's been proved wrong and found out that yes, Tieria likes him likes him, how long will it take for him to stop making excuses and try giving something like this a try? • At times, Lyle's still unsure how to handle his brother. They're slowly rebuilding their relationship and falling back into brotherly banter and some bonding sessions, but when you're on Earth and your brother's a terrorist in space... • Still harbours some resentment towards Neil from his inferiority complex, but he's trying as hard as he can to get past that, especially after the thing with the Shadows in January. • What Neil was hiding from him about the time CB was forced underground, about his eye being damaged and his hospital stay, has finally come to light; Neil still hasn't revealed all of it, and what little Lyle has found out has left him frustrated at his brother for just not getting the point about how it feels to be left in the dark about these things when your only remaining family member is risking their life out there. nena trinity. • Michael's infinitely easier-to-get-along-with sister. At first Lyle was a little wary, but now he and Nena get on like a house on fire. They're drinking buddies and bros, man. • Neil doesn't like her for some reason - did she do something before Lyle met her? Whatever it was, she doesn't seem to be as bad as Neil believes her to be, at least not now. And that's what matters. • Nena is a frequent stop-over at Lyle's Belfast flat, to the point where Klaus is determined that she is his girlfriend or something because she keeps shaking him down for Lyle's spare key. One of Lyle's closest friends since they met during the HSAU virus last year, almost like a younger sister to him. • Kind, stubborn, sweet and a little naive. Lyle knows she's a capable girl, but he can't help but worry about her since she seems to take so much on her shoulders... • Currently having problems with one of her best friends who lives in the past - Lyle's feeling a little useless in this whole thing right about now, but at least he can offer a listening ear. • The whole not being able to feel thing she keeps spouting about herself? priscilla "priss" s. asagiri. • Priss seems like a cool enough girl. They haven't talked much, but she's someone Lyle gets on with and she seems to be good drinking buddy material. • Recently dealt with something to do with mobile-suit-esque things called BOOMERS on her world - whatever it was, it seemed serious, and it's piqued Lyle's interest. • Apparently, she writes songs, which is pretty cool. Apparently they were married to each other in a virus once, which Lyle finds endlessly amusing. • She seems friendly enough and the two of them have had some good snarking sessions both within viruses and out of them. mileina vashti. • Celestial Being's adorable yet ditzy and a little spazzy teenaged mechanic. • Lyle finds her amusing (or should that be bemusing), especially her obsession with romance, but she seems like a good kid. Won more respect from Lyle for telling him some of what happened with Neil in the period where CB was forced underground in the aftermath of the Doctor's demise. • A possible ally in Operation: Hit Neil With A Clue By Four And Help Him Get Together With Tieria? michael trinity. • Nena's brother. A prankster who seems to err more on the side of "mean pranks" more often than not. Acts like your typical teenaged boy for the most part, but... • Lyle can't quite forget about that one thing that was broadcast ages ago now. Like Nena, Lyle's sure that Michael's better than he used to be, but since he's ruder and cruder than his sister and seems to delight more in winding his brother up, there's something that keeps Lyle from not being wary of him. • However, he's a laugh to talk to and he's decent drinking-buddy material, so that counts for something, right? tieria erde. • The girly-looking CB operative with a stick up his arse. For some reason he seems to take offence to Lyle's existence - Lyle reckons that it's something to do with Neil. • Speaking of Neil, it's so blatantly obvious that he fancies Lyle's twin that it almost physically hurts. And we can't be having Neil remain oblivious in the face of this, can we? • For the most part, these two tolerate each other, nothing more. feldt grace. • Quiet girl, works for Celestial Being - close to Neil? • Doesn't seem to hold that against Lyle, though, and for that he's thankful. The two have actually struck up a tentative friendly rapport with each other between viruses and the like, and he thinks Feldt's a sweet enough kid, just a little shy and socially awkward. setsuna f. seiei. • Another quiet one - where on Earth does CB pick them up from? • Other than being quiet, though, Setsuna's surprised Lyle sometimes with his insightful, if blunt, comments. That's won him some respect at least and also gotten Lyle a bit intrigued at what Setsuna's thinking behind that quiet of his. • Lyle helped track Setsuna down with a little help from Kataron and return him to the bosom of CB's heart. The two have a bit of a friendly respect for each other by now, even if they're still more acquaintances than anything else. GUNDAM 00 • STRANGEHELLS

cross marian. • Michael and Nena's surrogate father. Shows up on Lyle's posts sometimes to make broish/dickish/odd comments and activate Lyle's inferiority complex since he knows Neil. sheryl nome. • Intergalactic pop star from another universe. She seems fun and is definitely platonic flirting buddy material, but Lyle doesn't know all that much about her. MACROSS FRONTIER • PIERCETHECHARTS

izanami. • A Japanese goddess who seems to like being creepy and all-knowing all over the community. Since she was behind the Shadows earlier in the year, Lyle is naturally wary of her. He'd be even more wary if he knew she was behind that one secret. PERSONA 4 • FOGGINURWORLDS

donna noble. • Met up and went for drinks during the timewarp virus. Lyle remembers that much at least, and while that's the only time they've talked so far, he took a liking to her, and wouldn't mind getting to know her more. oliver day. • Lyle's best friend, hands down, in any universe. The two struck up a roaring friendship almost from Day One and after everything that's happened on the Crucible, they're lifelong friends. Oliver's enthusiastic, funny, and bright, and the banter between them is most excellent. • Lyle would trust Oliver with both his secrets and his life, and he wouldn't hesitate to die for Ollie either. • Best. Drinking and dorking buddy. Ever. • HOWEVER. Lyle really would like it if he was less accident-prone, the muppet. DOCTOR WHO • OLIVERPLUS

motoko kusanagi. • Capable, business-like and trustworthy. A fellow Crucible veteran, someone Lyle trusts. She's incredibly smart which shows up his own lack of knowledge sometimes, but he doesn't mind, really. She's a good person to have on your side in a firefight. GHOST IN THE SHELL • GHOSTIN_MYSHELL

the doctor. • Another one of Lyle's closest Crucible friends. Lyle finds the Doctor fun and fascinating, not to mention good to have around in a crisis. • Thanks to events on the Crucible - such as the first time they met, when a paranoid Doctor tore apart Lyle's memories for information, and the Bad End plot - Lyle is more aware of the Doctor's darker side than a lot of his friends. But the Doctor is well-intentioned and a good person, anyone can see that, so for the most part, Lyle trusts him. He just knows that someone has to keep an eye on the crazy time-traveller. • Also? Needless to say, defusing the situation was an experience to say the least. • However, Lyle reckons Brigid among his friends, and finds her to be fun, an excellent drinking buddy, and just a decent all-round friend, even if their opinions differ on letting the past go or not. Platonic flirting buddy, get? • The Nation thing is still a little odd - and in some ways, troubling - to think about if he's honest, but Lyle's pretty easy going, so if she says she's Ireland, she is.
