[Lyle appears to be on the beach despite the rain, and looks completely unfussed by the fact that he's now mildly moist.]
Well, what do you know. Looks like the rain just made all of that crazy pollen vanish. Just a guess, but is everyone back to their original gender now? [There's a small grin for a moment.] Allelujahs, Neil and Oliver, I'm looking at you.
[He suddenly begins looking a lot more serious than in either of his previous transmissions.]
Oh, and one more thing - did anyone else catch that weird message about five minutes ago? It might just be me, but that sounds like a chance to get a ticket out of here, assuming that our mysterious new neighbours aren't more likely to just bomb us once they've found what they wanted. What do you guys think?

[He looks at her a little oddly.] Are you alright? You look kinda sick.

[Covers her mouth with the hem of her sleeve.] I shifted back to this form, once the rain started...my stomach has not settled quite yet.
no subject
Huh... you were one of the ones who was genderswitched, huh?
no subject
[She nods, looking unhappy.] I was. I thought I had always been that way...
no subject
So did my friend. But hey, it's over now, right?
no subject
That is true. But I believe I have some apologizing to do...
no subject
[He's got a knowing smile on his face now.] Let me guess, you did something stupid while you were a guy.
no subject
[Covers her face with her hand and sighs.] More than once.
no subject
Hey, don't worry too much about it. Guys do stupid stuff all the time.
no subject
Really? I hadn't noticed. [She rubs her sun spiral, maybe the others will forgive her...?]
no subject
It's just one of those things. If you apologise they shouldn't hold it against you too badly.

I hope so, it would be rather upsetting to lose friends over something I did when I was not entirely myself.

[Pause.] Then again, I never expected to suddenly wake up on a spaceship one day either, so I guess it just goes to show.
no subject
Neither had I! But it appears that is a common thing among those who arrive here.
no subject
Looks that way, doesn't it?
no subject
Mmm! [She nods.]
