[Well, some time during his previous wanderings in the forest Lyle happened to come across a dagger and he's now sitting pretty in some get-up that looks a little like this. He's also since discovered that he's suddenly a lot more agile - which explains why he's now sitting comfortably in the branches of one of the trees.

... or at least, he was until a group of archers suddenly started shooting at him, almost making him tumble from the tree in surprise. And they don't look very friendly.]

What the hell--?!

[okay, better plan. He'll just be shimmying down this tree really fast now and running away, with the sphere happily recording every detail of this misadventure. There is no shame in running from a group of archers when you are one man with a dagger!]

Okay, the running from people I've done before, but they didn't have arrows. [As if to illustrate his point, one of the aforementioned arrows whooshes over his right shoulder. Yep, he'll just be running until he finds a place to lose them or he finds something in these new clothes that'll help him get out of this situation!]

I dunno, but as long as this doesn't end with either of us getting squashed or shot, I'll consider it a success. [he doesn't mention that he remembers that people in the film got squashed at some point by these giant trees. :|;;;]

[At first nothing seems to happen, but after a low rumble, the archers run off yelling.]

[the branch holding him suddenly drops and gently deposits him on the ground]

[smirks at Neil being deposited before turning to the tree] Great. Can you do me now as we --

[He doesn't get a chance to finish that question as the tree puts him down quite suddenly as well with a small rumble that might just pass for laughter]

[stares up at the tree for a bit] Er... thanks for that.

[at first, nothing happens, but then the tree leans down again and extends a branch to him, which he takes awkwardly and shakes]

[watches as it bends over a little more and a face appears in the bark, it says hello! such a friendly tree]

[after offering them what looked like a smile, it straightens up (only to shake loose some leaves) and walks back into the forest, which has some noticeably more treetops in motion]
